It is always a challenge for me to find a topic that might ideally be of interest and have some relevance to the healthcare practitioner. When I started writing this column, almost 20 years ago, it was easier to pick my topics, as the use of the so-called micro- or personal computer in an office environment was just beginning to take hold. Today, the office computer is ubiquitous, nothing special, just another device needed to keep an office running. |
