The election is over and we all know that President George W. Bush won in the Electoral College, as well as the popular vote. The Republicans will also now have bigger majorities in the House of Representatives and the Senate (55-45). On the day that Senator John Kerry conceded the election, the stock prices of all the major pharmaceutical companies increased, so clearly Wall Street had an opinion on the significance of the Bush victory.
